Summer is well under way. I think Mother Nature may have a clue it's time to warm up but it is still not as warm as I would like. Hey at least we have sunshine and not rain. That makes me happy.
It's been rough. Ryan and Zach are at their Dads in Oregon and it is a struggle. I truly love these boys. I get a lot of crap for letting Autumn have a boyfriend before she is 16 but I know the Lord put this family in our lives for a reason. I am also good friends with their mom. I love that when they need a blessing they ask Rich. I love that he is a positive role model for the boys. Their mom Justine is such a good mom. Their dad is such a jerk. It kills me they are with him. He is so mean to them, really verbally abusive to Ryan. It kills me when they text me asking for me to please come get them. It is all I can do not to go get them. Hopefully things will get worked out with the lawyer and they won't have to go again. I'm not writing this for people to wonder why they go. It is personal and I won't air it here. I really shouldn't even be writing this but my heart is heavy. Hope was praying last night and in her prayer she asked Heavenly Father to bless Ryan and Zach's dad not to be a butt head any more. Oops. But I had to laugh.
Autumn is going to Boise for a week to be with Sondra and Brady. She will have a blast. She is going to ride up with Zoey for Shawn's farewell to his mission in Arizona. It will do her good to get away. Brady and her have so much fun together. I am so grateful they are so close even as they get older.
Tymber went to 4H camp this week. She is gone Mon-Wed. She was so excited to go. Autumn was going to go be a counsellor but then found out her 4th year hike for Young Womens was the same time. Then the hike got cancelled due to snow so she was bummed she missed it.
Hope is just hanging out. She is sad she didn't get to go to camp and sad she doesn't get to go to Sondra's. It's rough being the baby. Not old enough to do the fun things her sisters are.
Rich is going to Physical therapy for his back. I hope it helps him. It kills me he is in so much pain. It affects him both physically and emotionally. The therapist does think he can help him and Rich did say he felt better today.
I have been working, hanging with my kids, and took an online orientation for school. I also signed up for 10 more workshops before school starts. On writing, PowerPoint, and a lot of other things to help me kick of a good start to college. I hope the better prepared I am the easier it will be for me.

Schools out... or is it?
School ended for the girls. They had a successful year. I now have a Sophomore a 6th grader and a kindergartner (whaaa). Hope had pre school graduation it was cute. I need to post her graduation pictures. She was excited.
The weather has been the pits. Its so cold and rainy the kids haven't been out much to play. It doesn't even feel like summer vacation yet.I hope it warms up so we can set up our pool.
Autumn will be taking her P.E. class on line this summer. She didn't want to take it at school so I signed her up at IDLA to take the class. She took 2 classes there last summer and liked it. I'm not sure she won't try to graduate early.
I start school July 12th. Yep I am going to college. Holy cow can you believe it? I can't. I am scared to death. I am a registered college student. 21 years after I graduated I am going back to school and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Gulp. I am attending the University of Phoenix on line. I am all signed up and ready to go. I am going to go for my associates degree in health care administration But I may change it to an associates in business. I have about a year to decide. I take 2 classes at a time each block is 9 weeks. So about the time Autumn is graduating from high school I will hopefully have an associates degree.
I am so scared. Am I smart enough? Am I driven enough? Can I do it with a family, work, house cleaning, all of my family obligations and making sure my kids get the attention they need? I am really worried about Richard's back and I know he can't keep framing and doing construction so I need to find something that pays more in case he needs to find a job that pays less in the future. It was really hard to make the decision and i really didn't want to go into debt but I also know the Church encourages us to continue our education and it's one of the things it's okay to go into debt for. I did qualify for a pell grant so some of it I won't have to pay back. I will try to keep the student loans to a minimum. Hopefully I will be able to find a good job in a few years as well. I know deep in my hear this is what I need to do. I have been praying a lot about it and the Spirit tells me I am on the correct path... so back to school I go.
