We are all finally better. Yeah. Now if the weather would be nice (yeah right). We had a party for my parents the day before Mothers Day for their 50th anniversary. I know it was in Feb. but we wanted to wait to have it when everyone was home. We were supposed to do family pictures but that just didn't work. Kade was off to prom & Heather had to leave for work. We were pretty sneaky. Caralyn told them we were having a welcome home party for Brandi and Darren. We invited Deb and Terry and Rock & Linda and Dan & Angela and we had dinner at Caralyns. We brought salads and ordered a sheet cake with their picture on it. All of the kids and grand kids were there. It was a really nice day so we set up tables outside and the kids were able to play and have a great time. Caralyn has a little park right next to her house with a play set so they all went over there and we easily could see them. Aunt Perk and Pat were there and Lynn and Alan also. Mom and dad were the first to arrive then Deb showed up. They were shocked. It was great. They also got a lap top. My dad really wanted one to take to Arizona so now we get to teach them how to use it. They know very little about computers.
Rich got the garden tilled up so my dad is coming today to make rows for us and bringing tomato plants. Rich and I have been trying to decide what to do with our yard. We have too many flower beds and way to many weeds. I think we are going to kill the big berm out front and get rid of all the weeds and grass in it. We are slowly going to get river rock to put in it and the other berm by the ditch and not worry about flowers and plants in it. The berm by the front of the house we will keep flowers in. This year I think my tomatoes are going there to help protect from the wind. Then we will just have the berms out back for flowers. Hopefully it will be much easier to keep up on. We will see I guess.
