We took a week off work and went to my brothers cabin Wed.-Sat. They are always so kind in letting us borrow it. I love their cabin. I love the area and the peace and quiet the cabin offers. We got there Wed. and pretty much just hung out. Thursday morning we woke up at 6 a.m. with hope screaming that she had fallen head first off the top bunk. We found out she was bleeding pretty good from her chin. I took a peek and really thought we needed to get stitches.I called my dad to see if there was a medical place close or if we needed to drive back to Idaho Falls (about 40 min away) after finding out we would need to go back I went in to talk to Rich. The bleeding had stopped and it didn't look as bad as we had thought. We decided to take the wait and see approach. She was very coherent and I wasn't worried about head injury. We ended up putting her in bed with us and went back to sleep. When we woke up we made breakfast and cleaned up then went to Jackson Hole. After looking at her chin again we decided to stop in at urgent care and have them look. The wound is under her chin but looked a little jagged. At urgent care they gave us the option of doing nothing, stitching, or gluing. I wanted to do the stitches because the scar wouldn't be that bad. Rich thought we would be okay with glue. Hope thought we would be okay doing nothing. I told her she said that now but when she was older and had a scar she wouldn't be happy. We agreed on the glue. After the doctor we went to find the older two girls, I left them to look around and shop. We had lunch and then did some shopping. I haven't been to Jackson for about 20 years and it has changed a lot but the shops were still fun, even though they all carry most of the same merchandise, with the exception of the fancy shops, but I'm a poor person so didn't even bother going in. Friday we hung out at the cabin and then decided to hike.Well, I decided. The family wasn't too thrilled about it but it was a beautiful day and I told them we didn't come to the cabin to sit and watch tv all the time. I used to go to Palisades creek all the time as a girl, ridding horses. We found the trail and off we went. We had the dogs with us and they absolutely loved it. Once we got everyone going it was a blast. So incredibly beautiful. Rich's back was killing him but he was such a good sport. We hiked a few hours then went back to the cabin. Saturday we cleaned then decided to hike again on our way home. The weather was wonderful. Even though only about 63 it wasn't too warm. We had such a great time with the kids and it was so relaxing and fun.

My husband and kids were throwing rocks (at each other) such love
Trying to get a decent picture with the dogs was a joke.
