Sold!

We finally got an offer on our house today. Friday we got a different offer and the couple came in and really low balled us and came back with a list of things they felt needed done. Most of it was stupid stuff. At first we weren't even going to counter but finally decided to counter. One condition was they had to sell their house first and we could continue to show our house but if another offer came in they had 72 hours to tell us if they could close in 30 days. Honestly we didn't feel good about the offer but were afraid nothing else would come along. We were going to send the counter in today at 3.
At 1030 this morning my realtor called and said another couple wanted to see the house. They had seen it before and fell in love with it but their house wasn't sold. Their house finally sold and best of all they are pre approved. They wanted to come at 1 to look at it. I was kind of freaking out because I had to work until noon and we needed to clean. Tym didn't feel good so she had stayed home today. Luckily she was able to do quite a bit for me and Rich is able to do small things like dishes etc.
My realtor Ann told me if they liked it they were prepared to make an offer today. We cleaned and left then came home. About an hour later Ann texted me and said there was an offer coming in and she would be here soon. She then texted back and said it was 500.00 less then our asking price. That was a full 10,000.00 more than the other offer. We were shocked. When she got here she told us how nice the couple is. They are older and don't have kids at home but grew up in Blackfoot and just sold a house in Salt Lake. They have been praying and praying our house wouldn't sell until theirs did. Here we had been praying and praying our house would sell haha.
Ann said they have family here and are so excited to move back and best of all they LOVE our house. This made Rich and I so happy. They didn't have a list of nit picky crap and didn't ask us to fix a thing. Both Rich and I feel so great about everything and so completely blessed. It was really important to us that someone love the house as much as we do.
We are scheduled to close Oct. 30th and maybe sooner.
I know I'm going to be sad when we start moving but I am so ready to be done with this chapter in our lives. I'm ready to pay off medical bills be debt free and best of all no longer be a slave to this house physically and financially. God really does answer prayers when they are needed most and I have no doubt His hand was in this and helping everything along just as they should be.
