We did shift bids again at work. I was not thrilled. I HATE shift bids. We had just done it 3 months ago so I was shocked they did it again, especially in the middle of NFL Sunday. They had some weird shifts to bid on. I was worried but my number was pretty high. Out of 733 agents I was number 47. This is really really good. The lower your number the better chance you have at the shift you want. They had 1 shift for sat/sun off that was mornings the rest were afternoon/evening. Then I bid on Sun/Thur off. I had to bid on 61 schedules and all but 10 were afternoon/evening. It was really important for me to get Sundays off so I can be in church with my family. At best I was hoping Sun/Thurs and I didn't want to think about the worst. Convergys is a large corporation and the work at home project is just a year old so it goes thru A LOT of changes. basically if it isn't broke they like to fix it. I love being home and I like my job so its all good and I have learned to roll with it, do the best I can do and be so thankful I have a job and am still able to be home.
Well, I got my new schedule yesterday. Imagine my SHOCK when I got Sun/Sat OFF. Hurray!!! I could not believe it. I have been there almost 2 years in January and have never gotten a bid I truly wanted and never received my first choice of bids. My schedule ROCKS!I work Mon-Fri from 6-11 am. How sweet is that? I can still pick Hope up from preschool on Tues and Thurs and my neighbor will take her for me. I will probably need to pick up a few additional hours as I usually work 30 hours a week not 25 but they are always looking for overtime hours so it won't be an issue.
We were told by our Bishop if we paid tithing for 2 months he promised we would see great blessings, also if we go to Church, read our scriptures, and of course we are still preparing for the Temple! Money is tight but Rich has been able to find work with Lyle, we see daily that we are being blessed and we know without a doubt we are doing what our Father in Heaven wants us to do and that he is aware of us and loves us. life is GOOD! no life is GREAT!

Super exciting. I can't believe how blessed you are to have Saturday and Sunday OFF!! Woo Hoo!
I'm glad that you are seeing blessings. Sometimes we don't see the tender mercies the Lord sends us, but when we look back, they are definitely there. Love you guys!
