Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

Blackfoot High School put on the play Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. We went to see it and it was AWESOME! I figured it would be good because I like the musical itself, but you know I wasn't sure of the talent of the high school kids. They were amazing. The lead singers were really really good and all of the other brothers and sisters were very good also. The play followed the original and the acting was great as well. They took a lot of time on the props and did a beautiful job. The drama dept. had to rely on the public for support or they would not be able to put on a play next year as their funding has been cut :-( but they announced tonight that they are able to put on another musical next year that enough money was raised to do so. Yeah! We went with Justine, Ryan ( he even liked it even tho he really didn't want to go) and my parents. Rich was supposed to go but his back is out bad again so he had to stay home. Tymber wasn't going to go but changed her mind and liked it. Hope was even entertained thru the whole thing. A fun evening with the kids o something that was well supported and a good family activity.
