Crush

Hope has a huge crush on the neighbor. Tyler Lott. She has for a while now and has told us about it. He even knows she has a crush on him. There is just a little bit of age difference. Tyler just turned 16 a few weeks ago. Hope isn't 6 yet. So my neighbor and very good friend Michelle called me last night to tell me Hope came over to her house. Tyler was watching t.v Hope walked in and told everyone she needed some privacy please. Then she sits down and procedes to tell Tyler she has a crush on him (then holds up her little hand) AND had a dream about him as well. He told her Thank You for telling him that. He is so sweet and was so nice about the whole thing. He is always really good to talk to her when he sees her. She then walks into their kitchen, wipes her hand across her forhead says Whew I'm glad that's over and went outside to continue to play.
I wasn't sure if I should laugh or be mortified. I probably would have been embarrassed but I know Michelle and their family so well both her and I thought it was funny. We agreed that when Tyler starts to date we think we will not tell Hope so she isn't heartbroke. The little nut.
