I have mentioned a little bit before that Autumn has not felt good for quite a while. She passed out at a fireside a while ago and just can not find any strength or energy. We were lucky at the fireside that many priesthood holders were there along with a physician. She was sitting down listening to the speaker, got dizzy, told Katie she didn't feel good and passed out on Katie. They called me and told me she was dizzy but never told me she passed out. She had the car and Rich had just gotten home from work so we drove in to get her. Honestly I thought she was just being a little dramatic until I learned she passed out. She hadn't eaten much that day and had been going non-stop for two days, plus it was hot in the chapel and the speaker was telling a graphic story so we thought that is what was wrong. She gets tired easily when she goes non-stop but I have thought that was a side effect from the mono in February, especially because I had it also and get exhausted quickly.
Our neighbor and home teacher Brian was at the fireside and offered her a blessing. I guess in the blessing he told her there were some things going on with her that the doctors and her parents would need to figure out. It kind of freaked me out. All through April and May she didn't feel good. Her stomach hurts most of the time, she is always exhausted and just not herself. I took her for a full blood work-up the first part of June. Everything looked really good. Then she went to Civitan and seemed to feel a little better and was finally going places with friends. Last week she told me I needed to make her another Dr appointment that she felt strongly she needs more tests. She never ever wants to go to the Dr. so I got right on it. She told the Dr. she thought it was her gallbladder that she had Googled it and feels like this is what is wrong. Thank goodness her Dr. is amazing and really listens to her and doesn't just blow her off. I LOVE her Dr. She is new as our old pediatrician retired. So after asking lots of questions and examining her again she set up an ultrasound, that came back okay and now we are going for an imaging test later today on her gallbladder. I am not sure if we are on the right path or not. I do know something is going on with her, I do not believe it is overly serious but we do need to find the answers and figure it out. Hopefully she will feel better soon. It is not fun being 16 the middle of summer and feeling lousy.
