help

It is so nice to have a family that is handy and comes to help when asked. I  knew we couldn't get the house ready to sell on our own so I asked my brothers and parents and Autumn and Jaron to come help us. They were all generous with their time and agreed. Its super hard to ask for help. There is a lot we need to do to get the house ready and get the best price out of it. Rich had some larger trim we got for free a few years ago and we trimmed out the living room, dinning room, and bathroom upstairs. It is crazy how much better big trim looks. Autumn and I painted my bedroom with some paint I had bought but wasn't crazy about for the basement, It has a touch of green in it but is a neutral color. I don't mind it for the bedroom. We got the laundry room cleaned and painted, the master bathroom shower sheet-rocked, some dents and dings and a  few holes in the wall patched and primed and ready for paint. My mom got some of my kitchen cabinets cleaned out. Overall I feel like we accomplished quite a bit in on day.

Rich was really not happy with me that I asked for help. To the point we got in a HUGE fight. We rarely fight. I can probably count less then 10 times in 25 years that we have really fought and been that mad  at each other. I refused to cancel them coming because we needed the help and he had his darn male pride in the way. We didn't talk for 2 days. it was stupid. He admitted Sat. that he was glad everyone was here. Considering he woke up this morning and could hardly walk I think he realizes we have to have he help.

I just wish the weather had bee nicer so I could have sent some people to work in my yard. It also needs some serious help. Oh well we will get it done. At least we are now on our way.

I also sold my china hutch today. I wasn't even sad to let it go and one less thing I need to move. Hooray!
