Right in the middle of moving and unpacking we left for Boise. We planned it right before we moved. We needed a break from everything and all the madness. The girls weren't in school yet, I had a week off work and it was time to get away. We left on Thursday and got to Sondra's around 3. the weather was beautiful and we just hung out. It was so nice to unwind. We left the dogs at the Pet Lodge. I felt bad but didn't want to deal with them. Friday was Halloween and Sondra got up and made us ghost pancakes then went to work. We went shopping for a while. We hit the Nike store and Gordmans. We all LOVE that store. Sondra got off work and we went back to her house to eat and relax some. Rich still has a hard time going going going and the drive up was hard on him. After eating and relaxing the girls got their costumes on and we went to the Village. We decided no trick-or-treating (Sondra had plenty of treats for us. Sugar cookies, cupcakes, twix bars, peanutbutter bars, yum yum). We walked around the Village a little and went to see a movie instead. It was fun. Saturday Sondra made biscuits and gravy (spoiled) and we went to Hobby Lobby and Fred Meyers. Then back to her house to watch tv and let Rich relax. We were going to go out to dinner that night but decided we were going to see the Maze Runner. Two movies in two nights. Thats unheard of for us,. We barely go to two movies a year. But it was vacation... So instead of eating out Sondra made us tacos. We left and went back to Gordmans and Jason and Sonrda met us there. Sharon wasnt feeling well so didnt go with us. It was raining super hard so we didnt get to spend time at the Village except to go to the movie theater. Sunday came all to soon and we left to go home. It sure is fun to get away and spend time with my favorite people.
We had a little passenger on the way up. We took this little pup to her new home in Boise. Sondra wanted to keep her. HAHA she sure was cute.
