Crazy

That is what the past few months have been. Crazy crazy crazy. We closed on our house October 16th and the people who bought it left on a cruise. We couldnt move out until October 25th. Thank goodness for the elders quorum. About 7 men showed up on the 25th and helped load 3 trailers that my brothers had loaned us. Around 10 a.m. my dad, mom, Autumn, Jaron, Rory, and Rick showed up as well. Rich was in a lot of pain due to doing to much during the week. It was hard on him but he pretty much had to stay out of the way. By noon everything was loaded and we were on our way to Pocatello. We left the dogs at our house in the kennel. They were freaking out with all the packing and everything going on. It was pretty good weather except the wind picked up later in the day.

Thank goodness for my mom. She remembered everyone needed to eat so she made sloppy jos and a salad. We were all pretty hungry when we got to the new house so we heated up lunch and ate. Then I sent Rich down to his moms house to rest. He was having a hard time watching everyone unpack and unable to help. I knew it would be easier just to get him out of the way. My brothers, dad, Jaron, Autumn, Tymber, and I jumped right in and started to unload. Once some of the kitchen stuff came in Autumn and my mom jumped in and started to unpack and put some kind of order in my kitchen.

One super funny thing that happened when we were unloading Tymber and Autumn decided to unload a mattress, Hope wanted to help so they had the bright idea of having her carry the mattress from underneath. I walked outside as the mattress fell on her and Autumn and Tymber were laughing their heads off. Tymber fell over she was laughing so hard. All three of them were cracking up so hard they couldn't get the mattress off from her. It was pretty funny to see all of them trying to work together but fail miserably. Sisterly love.

Rory stayed and put my beds together, it was great. Rich also came home and they hung our tv. Jaron was a life saver. He is really strong and we sure worked him hard with all the unloading. He took the brunt of the heavy stuff. He informed me next time we moved he will make sure he is in the hospital that day having knee surgery, even though his knees are perfectly fine. Rick and my dad were also a huge help. They put up a fence for our dogs seems how we are sharing a yard. Rich and I have reflected how dumb we were not to put a fence up years earlier. Especially because it cost us around 100.00. The dogs love the room to run.

About 5 pm we went back to Blackfoot, dropped Autumn and Jaron off ( he had to drive my expo because we had to pull a trailer and I don't pull things) and pick the dogs up. We went in the house and the dogs looked around and just started to whine. They were so confused. It was really scary for them. They were so happy when they got to the rental and seen all our stuff. Its taken them about 3 weeks to adjust its been rough on everyone.

Moving has been a huge adjustment. Hope had a really hard time and cried when she had her last day of school, cried when we left and cried when we went back that Monday to clean. She really loved our neighbors and their kids. She has some great friends here though and is liking her teacher and making new friends.

Tymber had a hard time too. Both Rich and I were and still are extremely sad but without a doubt selling was the right thing for us to do. We are still unpacking and adjusting. I don't think this place will ever feel like home seems how its just a rental but we will do the best we can until we can buy again.
