The Dentist

So the girls had dentist appointments today. Hope had her first cleaning a few weeks ago and she did great. What a big girl she was. She let them take x-rays on the front of her teeth and everything. I think it was awesome for being 4 years old. Bad thing she had a cavity.
:-( so today she had it filled. Once again she did really well. They gave her happy gas but she really did not like wearing the "pig nose" so after they numbed her they took it off. They told her they were putting her sugar buds to sleep and of course she never knew she was getting a shot at all. She said ouch a few times but over all I think it was great. They have a tv she can watch over her head and when we were waiting for her mouth to numb when she still had the gas on she was talking about all these weird thing we had no clue what she was saying. I am really ticked at myself I really wanted to take my camera & even woke up in the middle of the night to think about it & of course I forgot. Bummer. Tymber has 1 very small cavity she needs filled next week other then that everything is great with her. Autumn has absolutely beautiful teeth. She has never had a cavity the stinker and she really doesn't brush as often or as good as she should. Her teeth are really strait and she has a little overbite but not much. Her 2 side teeth have a little space in between & they said if it bothers her she could do braces, but I don't think so. It would all be purely cosmetic & she really does not need it. I can't see going thru the expense and pain for something that isn't even crooked.

It is dang cold here today. Minus 9 when we woke up and right now it is about 8 outside. high today is 15. Yuck I hate the cold. Makes me glad my errands are done and I have the next 2 days off. I can snuggle in and get some cleaning done, maybe something in my scrapbook room organized and play with Hope. Stay warm friends & family.
