My familys new blog I think

Well, I guess we will blog also. Or I should say I will blog. Hopefully this is something I will keep up with. I know it won't be an everyday thing but I know my Sister- in -Law Sondra is right & I need to blog while my children are growing. Richard and I have been married almost 20 years. Yes that is right 20 years. It will be July 7 th. Holy crap how did that happen & where did the time go? I married at the young age of 18. My oldest daughter Autumn will be 18 in 4 years. If I think of it that way WOW that is young, but you know what? I would do it all again at that age in a heartbeat. We were made for each other and our life together raising our children is a great life. Stressful at times of course but who's isn't.

Our oldest Autumn as I said is 14. She is a stinky teen and these years are going to be fun (not.) Attitude big time. But she is a lot of fun when she isn't grouchy. She could do better in school but most of it is just her being lazy. She is still a great girl (young women) and has a great faith in Heavenly Father and such a wonderful spirit about her. All of her youth leaders tell me how much they enjoy her and can really feel her spirit. What a great joy to hear as parents.

Tymber is 10.5 and she is Tymber... She is very sensitive and gets her feelings hurt easily, she has a great care for other people and shows a great concern for them and their feelings (unless her & Autumn are trying to kill each other of course) she really struggles in school and has a rough time with it, things do not come easy to her and she has always been a "beat to her own drum" kind of person. But she works SUPER hard in school and does great. Learning will never come easy to her but there are many things in life she will excel at. She is the middle child so I feel like sometimes she is lost and that is something we need to make sure doesn't happen with her. She is such a blessing to us and I believe she was given to us to remember how to laugh and have a great time. She is very fun loving and easy going and is so good at making friends very easily.

Then there is our Hope Charlie. She is 4 and wow is she the princess. She is the baby and she knows it. We are trying to not spoil her but it is hard. She is very happy all of the time and extremely easy going. She stays home with me while I work and is so good when I am working. She is quiet and plays by herself. A lot of time I feel guilty she doesn't have the time with me the other 2 girls had but I am beyond grateful to have a job at home so she is with me. She is growing way to fast and is always cracking us up. I think 4 going on 20. Some of the things she says and does amaze us. Autumn tells me "wow, it makes you wonder what she will be like as a teenager" I know she will be a handful for sure.

Rich is self employed as a contractor/sub contractor and what can I say times are tough right now. The economy is the pits and I constantly worry about making a living. I know it is a LOT of stress on him as well. We struggle with it daily but are blessed to have a nice home & food on the table for our family.

As I said I work form home, actually today is my 1 year anniversary for going back to work. It was a major shock to the family as I have pretty much been a stay at home mom for 13 years so it was a rough adjustment and I still think we struggle to find the balance. But I enjoy working and I LOVE working from home. While the job isn't always the funnest that is okay most days I don't mind it and am just grateful to have a job.

Well, that is probably it for today I guess. I will just be writing about our life & the fun things my kids say and do. We do lead a pretty boring life, so don't expect much.
