Thursday our ward took the yw/ym to the temple to do baptisms. I never went as a youth and have not been to the baptismal font as an adult. I was pretty excited to go. We took a bus down (we have a lot of youth) and ate dinner at the temple. Then we went and changed. They split the kids up half did confirmations and half did baptisms and then they switched.I requested to hand the towels to them as they got out because I had never been and wanted to watch. Tymber was the first to get baptised. Each youth did 10 names for both. Autumn baptised a Princess of Holstein. She was pretty excited, I think she dated back late 1700's from Hungary or somewhere. When we were done the Bishop informed us we did 250 names. He told everyone that was enough to start a whole ward. How cool was that!
Rich had planed on going to baptise seems how he didn't baptise either girl. As luck would have it that is the day he had his shot. He is doing pretty good. His leg is almost pain free but where he got the shot is very sore. He said this doctor was so much better. Hopefully it will help him.
I am really enjoying the YW group. Tuesday we are taking them to the corn maze for our activity! Fun Fun. I wanted to go anyways when I told Rich we were going he said no fair he wants to come also.
