Hopes ribbon

Hope has been taking 4-H lessons all summer learning to sew. She had the chance to make a skirt and enter it into the county fair. I don't sew, at all.  We have a sewing machine and Tymber and Autumn sew a little. Unfortunately the machine was packed and so it was not available. So I asked my mom to help Hope. We went and she picked out her own material then went home with Grandma for a few days and made a skirt. My mom helped a little but not much. She mainly helped Hope with the elastic and was there to guide and help her pin. Hope scored 96 out of 100 points at the fair and because of this she gets to enter the State fair. She was so excited.
